In addition to the degree modules listed above, we teach a number of practical, spiritual emphasis and ministry-related subjects throughout the three years, in short intensive modules. This gives us the opportunity of receiving guest lecturers from the UK and overseas to teach on their specialist themes, and to combine a distinctly inspirational and impartational emphasis. Regular subjects taught as part of this programme include:
These subjects do not count towards the student’s degree, but can affect the classification of their college diploma. The diploma also takes into account the student’s experience in different forms of ministry during their time with us and their contribution to the life of the college. The title of the college diploma awarded will reflect their gifts and calling and the subjects they have chosen to study. PART-TIME STUDYThe college’s semesterised and module-based structure means that it is comparatively easy to work towards a recognized qualification on a purely part-time basis. We try to be as flexible as we can to facilitate part-time learning and do our best to help the student get the training they need within the time they have available. Please ask us about this if you wish to know more. INTERNSHIPSThe college also has an internship programme that gives some of our third year students the opportunity of spending an additional year in college after graduation to undertake further practical in-service training. Interns work closely with a member of the college staff or faculty. The internship can be combined with formal graduate study on one of our Graduate School programmes. POST GRADUATE COURSESSometimes an applicant has already received a degree (or has an appropriate level of experience) and wishes to do ‘one year of Bible college’. We offer a non-validated postgraduate certificate and postgraduate diploma which enable them to pick out the most appropriate bespoke package of modules from across our three year BA programme. |
