BA Bib.Studies and Theology |

This programme is also specifically designed to train and equip intending church teachers (and other related Christian ministries). The more ‘academic’ of the two BA programmes, it introduces the student to the disciplines of Biblical Studies, Systematic Theology and Church History, together with a biblical languages component if the student wishes. It does this from a solidly faith-based perspective, which reflects strongly the college’s Pentecostal heritage, and combines this with an academic
integrity that is distinctly analytical and critically aware. The programme seeks to develop the student’s critical skills, to enable them to make cogent assessments about the meaning and application of biblical texts to contemporary situations. These contemporary situations engage with the conditions of the ‘market place’ and offer a meaningful 21st century strategy for missions and discipleship.
