MTh in Practical Theology
This degree programme offers a wide range of modules to choose from, ranging from academic biblical studies through specialised studies in Pentecostal theology to an innovative module in contemporary preaching. Modules available include the following (not all are offered each year).

Mode of Delivery: 3 years part time (September) OR 1 year full time

Admission Requirements: Applicants under 25 require a first degree in a biblical or theological subject, or a first degree in another subject plus at least two years’ relevant ministry experience. Applicants over 25 can be accepted on the basis of their experience in ministry and do not always need formal qualifications for admission.

MTh in New Testament
This course offers students the opportunity of dealing with issues of biblical interpretation and engaging with New Testament texts in the original language. It provides an ideal introduction to advanced biblical studies for students hoping to continue to doctoral studies in the field.

There are four compulsory modules for the programme:


History and Principles of New Testament Interpretation
New Testament Literature
New Testament Canon
New Testament Theology

Mode of Delivery: 1 year full time only

Admission Requirements: first degree in a biblical or theological subject, ordinarily including Greek, at Upper Second or First Class level (US GPA 2.8 or above)

MTh in Old Testament
This course offers students the opportunity of dealing with issues of biblical interpretation and engaging with Old Testament texts in the original language. It provides an ideal introduction to advanced biblical studies for students hoping to continue to doctoral studies in the field.

There are four compulsory modules for this programme:
