In Luke 2:52, it says of the Lord Jesus that he ‘grew in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and people’. In other words, he matured mentally, physically, spiritually and socially. On the campus of Mattersey Hall and beyond we seek to provide an atmosphere for such growth to take place in the life of every person who chooses to study with us. We believe that the heart is as important as the head – and the outside of the classroom is as important as the inside.

That is why, alongside the excellent teaching and practical ministries programme, we aim to provide a healthy and happy family environment so that your character as well as your gifting can be developed. Perhaps that’s why so many Christians from a wide variety of church backgrounds, cultures and countries feel really at home here. If you decide to apply I’m sure you will too.

Whether you are in the classroom, the chapel, the football field or the lounge our desire is to see you develop and mature as a whole person so that you can truly love life, love people and above all love God.
