The DMin degree as offered at Mattersey Hall comprises a taught component and a dissertation of approximately 50,000 words (which will be defended at a viva). It is ordinarily available as a three to four year part time programme. Candidates for this programme who already hold an appropriate and relevant Master's degree will complete 120 credits of taught doctoral level modules that are designed to prepare them for the dissertation phase. The research they undertake will ordinarily be in a practical area of ministry. Supervision for the thesis will be provided by a team of staff from Mattersey Hall and the process will be supported with regular group tutorials throughout the year. Admission for this course is in September each year.
