In addition to the degree modules listed above, we teach a number of practical, spiritual emphasis and ministry-related subjects throughout the three years in short intensive modules. This gives us the opportunity of receiving guest lecturers from the UK and overseas to teach on their specialist themes, and to have an even more inspirational and impartational emphasis. Regular subjects taught as part of this programme include:
Evangelism
Social Entrepreneurship
Ministry Dynamics
Other Faiths
Life Skills
Children’s Work
Church Planting
Social Concern
For instance, we offer a Diploma in Creative Arts for students who have taken modules in Media Studies and Music, Dance and Drama, a Diploma in Christian Leadership for those who have followed the church leadership options, a Diploma in Mission and a Diploma in Biblical Studies. You will therefore earn a recognised and respected professional qualification in a ministry-related field as well as the degree.
These subjects do not count towards your degree, but can affect the classification of your college diploma, which also takes into account your experience in different forms of ministry during your time with us and your contribution to the life of the college. The title of the college diploma awarded will reflect your gift and calling and the subjects you have chosen to study.
