BD (King’s College, London), MTh PhD (Nottingham) Glenn and Caroline then moved to Cambridge, where Glenn served at Tenison Road Church for seven years as Senior Leader. He also completed a doctoral degree with Nottingham University, and took an increasing role at Mattersey Hall as a part-time lecturer. In 2000 Glenn took up a full-time post as Director of Studies at Mattersey Hall and Caroline took up the post of Office Manager. (It is usually Caroline’s voice you hear if you telephone the college.) Subsequently Glenn was appointed to the role of Vice Principal and as such heads up the college’s undergraduate programme. Glenn’s teaching specialism is the biblical languages – especially New Testament Greek – and New Testament studies. He has made several contributions to the Tyndale Bulletin and is a regular reviewer for Journal for the Study of the New Testament and Expository Times. He is also the author of A Step-by-Step Introduction to New Testament Greek (2005) and an accompanying Memory Aids publication. At present he is working on A Verse-by-Verse Commentary on the Greek text of Mark’s Gospel (expected publication, 2009). Glenn has developed a national and international teaching ministry in various churches and other colleges and serves on the leadership at Langold Christian Community Church. Glenn and Caroline have four children who are all teenagers or in their early 20’s – Rebecca, Nathan, Daniel and Hannah. |
