BA (CNAA) MA (Cantab) PhD (Sheffield) Theological Seminary). Robin contributed to the NIV Thematic Study Bible (London: Hodder and Stoughton, 1996/ Grand Rapids: Zondervan, 1999) and compiled the proper name entries for the NIV Comprehensive Concordance (London: Hodder and Stoughton, 2001). He is author of Old Testament Theology: a Thematic Approach (IVP/Apollos, 2008) and is co-editor of a forthcoming book Bible and Mission (Neufeld Verlag, 2008) to which he has contributed a paper on ‘Mission and Covenant in the Old Testament’. Robin is married to Ailsa, a primary school teacher, and they have two grown-up children, Philip and Rebekah - who are also teachers! His interests include reading historical novels, particularly those set during the Napoleonic wars - not least because Ailsa is related to the Duke of Wellington. |
